Dhee has added one other single to her discography. The singer, identified for songs like ‘Ey Sandakaara’, ‘Kannamma Kannamma’ and ‘Rowdy Child’, has launched her newest single titled ‘I Put on My Roots Like a Medal’.
The music options the singer in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, tracing her land as she sings about generational trauma and coping with emotional baggage.
Composed, written and carried out by Dhee, the music is produced by her together with Santhosh Narayanan and Aditya Ravindran. Santhosh has additionally blended the music which is directed and edited by Amith Krishnan who additionally helmed the viral hit ‘Enjoy Enjaami’.
Dhee, in an earlier Instagram submit, mentioned that the music, “is devoted to everybody who’s in the hunt for their roots, and I hope it helps you embrace all that makes you you.”
The music marks Dhee’s second single after ‘Take pleasure in Enjaami. Performed by Dhee in Santhosh’s music and featuring Arivu, the music is a mixture of pop and hip hop incorporating components of R&B and oppari.
