Pop star Justin Timberlake was handed a sentence of neighborhood service on Friday (September 13, 2024) after he modified his plea to responsible following his arrest for drunk driving, US media reported.
On June 18, the 43-year-old entertainer was pulled over within the city of Sag Harbor, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) east of New York Metropolis, after police noticed his BMW undergo a cease signal and wrestle to remain inside highway lanes.
Sag Harbor Village Justice Courtroom justice Carl Irace handed Timberlake a neighborhood service sentence and ordered the star to make a public assertion after the 43-year-old pleaded responsible to a lesser cost of driving whereas alcohol impaired, The New York Put up reported.
The officer who pulled over the “Cry Me a River” singer stated he was in no match state to drive.
“His eyes have been bloodshot and glassy, a powerful odour of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide consideration, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he carried out poorly on all standardized subject sobriety assessments,” the police report stated.
