Cleo Sylvestre has died aged 79.
The trail-blazing actress turned the primary black girl ever to play a number one position on the Nationwide Theatre in London in 1969.
She handed away on Friday morning after spending three weeks in a London hospital.
In a press release launched to the BBC, her agent mentioned: ‘A lot-loved and admired by her friends, she can be remembered as a path blazer and a real buddy.
‘She can be sorely missed by so many. We ask that you simply respect the privateness of her household at this troublesome time.’

Sharing the information to X, her daughter, Zoe Palmer wrote: ‘Our beloved, inspirational mum crossed over this morning.’

Born in London on April 19 1945 she went on to check at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
In 1964, with the assistance of The Rolling Stones supervisor and producer Andrew Loog Oldham, she launched her first single, To Know Him Is to Love Him.
