“There’s music, songs, story-telling and artwork to relate the story of Yashodhara,” says Latha Kurien Rajeev, artistic director of the present.
Yashodhara has impressed poets and writers. Whereas he turned the Buddha, Yashodara remained a single mom, mentioning their son Rahul. Hindi poet Mythili Sharan Gupt’s well-known poem on Yashodhara is a delicate tackle her life.

Award-winning playback singer Madhusree says the songs chosen embody evergreen numbers from movies that shall be rendered by the three musicians with Devanand SP on the guitar and Adithya SP on the keyboard as nicely.
